Lakeside Forest Session
September is one of my favorite months to photograph families. The temps are starting to cool but still warm enough to enjoy late evenings outside....and perfect for lakeside relaxation. I found this gorgeous location while hiking with my boys one afternoon and just knew it would be magic for a session.

Melissa reached out to schedule a family session commemorating not only her daughter turning 1, but also their big move from Baltimore to the midwest!
She wanted to showcase the neighborhood they loved so much and capture an evening out and about the city as they had done so many other nights as a family of three.

Farm & Fields Session
Stacy was new to Baltimore and wanted to schedule a family session + cake smash. Spring had just sprung, and I knew this gorgeous farm with perfect evening sunsets would be a great spot for her little ones to run and play in. Soft spring greens and a warm breeze, lots of giggles and a little bit of cake made for a beautiful evening at the farm.

I specialize in natural light photography.
In doing so, I believe it allows me to tell the most intimate real stories of your families in stunning settings. My approach to photography is to focus on those real, candid moments between you and your children! I do provide what I like to call gently guided posing - I will help direct you with your general best angles and how to interact if you're feeling a little silly or stiff - after all, how many of us frolick in overgrown grassy fields on the weekends?? The beauty of my approach however, is that while you are busy playing and chasing and loving on your little ones - I'm busy snapping away at the tiny moments you don't know are unfolding right before our eyes. Those little hand holding squeezes and tippy toe twirls are my favorites to capture.

Simply fill out the contact form and we'll chat about all the important details to get you scheduled. Once we've selected your session date, there's a retainer and contract to complete the booking process. When your forms have been completed, you are officially in my calendar

2. Planning your session and wardrobe
Once you've booked with me I'm in full planning mode. From selecting your location, to helping with your wardrobe styling and offering feedback - I'll take care of the little details so you don't need to stress! I will help you select the best color pallete for your family's wardrobe, and additionally will provide links to my most favorite websites for shopping. I will even offer specific clothing options and can build looks for each individual family member! If you'd like to borrow a gown or dress from my client closet, that can be arranged as well!
3. Your session date is here!
On the day of your session, we will meet at our selected location ready to have FUN! I like to capture my families in their most natural state - running, tickling, playing and laughing. We will take walks through fields, skip stones in the creek, tell silly jokes and laugh until our bellies hurt. I like to have you interact with each other as naturally as possible - no "look here and say cheese!" during any of my sessions!
I am ALL about those real, unposed smiles and tiny moments.
4. your photographs
Following your session, I go through your images and edit them to enhance the mood, colors and light to perfectly showcase your family's love. You can expect your proofing gallery within three weeks of your session. After wiping the tears away from looking at the amazing family you've created, you will select your digital collection package and use your artwork credit to purchase amazing artwork for your walls!

Let's get your date on my calendar! A 50% non-refundable retainer will cover session preparation (location planning, wardrobe styling and personal shopping services etc.), my time photographing your session, and secures your date on my calendar! Everyone else is turned away for that date and time once your retainer is completed.
After our time together, you will receive a fully edited online gallery of digital images made available to you for
viewing, sharing, and high resolution image downloading!
Physical products such as prints, albums, artwork, and more is available for ordering separately.
Session Fee: $800 + tax
Pricing includes the digital download of your entire high resolution, fully edited digital image gallery!
